This dilapidated period weatherboard home was purchased by the clients with the intent of renovating to increase the value and then sell. The home had
by the previous owner had a first floor addition added to the rear. However, it was incomplete and accessed via an unsafe spiral stair case. There
was also an uninviting garage to the front of the property, which detracted from the homes façade.
The new design included opening up the rear of the house to a new open plan kitchen dining area, with the addition of a new living room with box seat window,
built in joinery and gas fireplace. A new timber stair was designed to access the first floor, which was converted to the master suite where exposed
beams, WIR and ensuite featured. The luxurious transformation continued through to the front bedrooms with BIR's plus study nook and designer bathroom.
The garage was clad with timber battens and a new garage door added. The finished product was a stylish family home, superbly renovated to a very high
standard.
