The brief for this project was to create a cosy family home for a growing young family. The client loved older style weatherboard homes and wanted to create this feel in a new purpose built design to suit the family’s needs. The site sloped gently from the front to the rear.
A two storey design was fashioned with four bedrooms at first floor with ensuite and dressing room to the master bedroom and a main bathroom for the other bedrooms. Ground level contained a double garage, lounge room and entry with porch. This led through to the main living area which stepped down with the natural contours of the site. The main living area connected to the garden by a means of a large covered decking area. The final result exceeded the clients’ expectations and provided a home that they could grow into over coming years.
